Malware

Background

Azmuth is the smartest being in three galaxies (arguably five) and as you can imagine this meant he liked to conduct experiments of sorts. One of these experiments involved turning Galvan B into an inhabitable land and he actually succeeded. Galvan B had become less of a moon and more of a dwarf planet but as a result he also inadvertently created a race of technological lifeforms known as Galvanic Mechamorphs who were created by Galvan B's own 'source code'. However as Azmuth decided to remove himself and his helix (which created the race) there was one Galvanic Mechamorph not like the others. This particular being had been right in the middle of completing his source code when Azmuth took the helix offline. This was the beginning of Malware.

Powers and Abilities

Malware made his first appearance in The More Things Change where he was able to defeat Four Arms. He did so by displaying the ability to generate spikes from the ground and was able to slam Four Arms into a tree. He then tanked being hit by a tree.

Malware then fought Feedback and was able to keep up with him in close quarters combat. Malware then had his energy absorbed and was able to tank an electrical blast through a forest. 

In Trouble Helix Malware was able to survive atmospheric re-entry. He was able to absorb a tiny jetpack to grant him the power of flight. He then engaged Feedback in combat where he tanked quite a bit of punishment. He then fought Four Arms where he displayed a large enough laser to blast Four Arms up several stories. 

He then grabbed what he was looking for and flew back to Galvan B where he had to fight Heatblast but effortlessly defeated him. He was able to proceed with his upgrade and was able to absorb a laser cannon. 

He proceeded to defeat Cannonbolt but was finally stopped by Diamondhead who encased him in crystal.

In Malefactor Malware appeared again fighting against an entire Plumber's base. Malware fought XLR8 and was able to outlast the Omnitrix transformation time. It was at this moment Max shot Malware with a Tachyon Cannon, a weapon that is used as a last resort and "keys into the target's bio-signature then disrupts every individual cell with matching DNA. It took Malware apart by a sub-cellular level" except Malware survived it thanks to his "mutated genetic code" and was able to absorb the Tachyon Cannon to achieve his third form. According to Max "human DNA has less than 1% variation" meaning that Malware could wipe out every human "within 100 miles".

Later in the episode Malware dueled with Humungousaur but eventually decided to fight pragmatically and send a gasoline truck into a bus so that Ben would save the bus rather than continue to fight him.

In Showdown Part 1 Malware was able to completely absorb the source code of two Galvanic Mechamorphs, reducing them to stone statues.

It was revealed later in the episode that Malware was the reason why Ben doesn't use Feedback anymore and that was because Malware grabbed onto the Omnitrix and physically ripped the Conductoid DNA sample out of it.

Its heavily implied that this experience is what caused Ben to stop using the Omnitrix until the events of Alien Force. Needless to say Ben was so pissed off he exposed the Omnitrix core and stuck it in Malware overloading him with so much energy that he exploded.

In Showdown Part 2 Malware completely destroyed Galvan Prime's moon, Galvan B by absorbing the entirety of its helix. Oh yeah he also plowed through Galvan B's security system.

As it turned out Malware temporarily became the moon itself and as such the resulting debris was himself which he used to absorb part of Galvan Prime. Accordin to Azmuth, Malware had been "scattered over half the planet". After absorbing so much of the planet Malware had grown by a significant amount Azmuth attempted to reason with him but Galvan Defenses electrocuted him; only serving to piss Malware off. Ben then attempted to use Humungousaur to fight him and despite initially gaining the upper hand, Malware's laser was enough to keep Humungousaur at a distance. Malware then protruded spikes from the ground and absorbed Rook's Proto-Tool and created several laser blasts to fight Humungousaur. Now while that didn't work, Malware was now more versatile than ever and eventually landed a laser blast at close range. This continued but Malware decided to end the fight by trapping Humungousaur with his body and absorbing his very essence, growing in size as he did so. He would have succeeded in killing another of Ben's alien forms if it wasn't for the Plumbers' intervention.

Even after getting his arms cut off, Malware quickly regenerated and tanked several missiles being fired at him.

Later in the episode malware survived being stomped on by Way Big (which also created a small earthquake) and shapeshifted into a pile of goo to easily dodge Way Big's attacks. Malware was able to catch Way Big off guard and send him flying. Way Big retaliated by using his martial arts to gain some distance before firing a pretty impressive cosmic ray... that still didn't kill Malware though it did cause Malware to fight a bit smarter. Malware started to absorb Way Big but this was also while he was attempting to absorb the planet. Of course after the fail safes prevented him from doing the latter, Malware threw a tantrum and recalled every piece of himself to grow into his fourth form, a Godzilla-esque monster that made Way Big pale in comparison. Malware then proceeded to absorb the entirety of Way Big.

After absorbing so much energy Malware was easily able to level buildings with his laser and it didn't even seem like he was trying. Unfortunately Ben had just reunlocked Feedback and burst outside of him. But Malware easily tanked all of Feedback's attacks and it seemed as if he was about to win when it started raining Galvanic Mechamorphs who proceeded to destroy Malware with their source code. This reverted Malware back to his third form. However, Malware was still powerful in his own right and agile enough to dodge laser blasts. It took Feedback absorbing energy from the helixes to finally destroy Malware once and for all.
